Turkey's unemployment rate declined to 8.5% in October 2023.

The unemployment rate in Turkey dropped to 8.5% last October, marking its lowest level since November 2012.

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday, the unemployment rate decreased by 0.5 percentage points in October compared to September 2023.

The data shows that the total number of unemployed people in the country declined to 2.961 million.

The statement indicated that the unemployment rate was 7% for men and 11.3% for women.
